The Z 440C was a 443 cc air-cooled parallel twin, the larger-engined successor to the 398 cc KZ400 twin that began in 1974. It had a single overhead cam, a six-speed belt-drive gearbox and a tubular double-cradle frame. The page dates it to 1979, the first year of the 440 twins on this index.
